Elevating Localization. Leading Optimization.

Designed for clinical accuracy and a vision for the future, SCOUT® eliminates bottlenecks associated with traditional clinical pathways.2 The unique attributes of the SCOUT system exclusively enable localization at the time of biopsy for suspicious lesions and prior to systemic therapy while enabling evidence based improved surgical outcomes.

Single-step Biopsy and Localization

Simplify the workstream and patient pathway for suspicious lesions that are likely to progress to surgery.2 SCOUT’s clinically insignificant MRI artifact and proven stability post-placement ensure confidence while sparing patients an additional intervention.4

Placement Prior to Neoadjuvant Therapy

At the time of biopsy or prior to initiation of therapy, MRI artifact due the SCOUT reflector is clinically insignificant, unlike magnets and RF markers.4 Clinically proven to facilitate safe de-escalation of axillary surgery via targeted axillary dissection and to reduce false negative rates associated with sentinel node biopsy.5

Placement Under MRI Guidance

Place SCOUT reflectors under MRI guidance to mark what can only be seen on MRI at the time of biopsy or for localization. Confidently localize and bracket extent of disease not visible under other modalities with the SCOUT Bx™ Delivery system.

Greater Precision and Improved Cosmesis

Clinically proven to reduce the need for re-excision and enable the preservation of healthy tissue, the utility of the SCOUT system also enables surgeons to choose the ideal incision location for better oncoplastic outcomes.6

Expanded Applications for RADAR Localization

SCOUT’s expansive utility is clinically proven to support accurate localization for melanoma, lymphoma, sarcoma, lymphadema management and other soft tissue localization while limiting trauma to the surrounding tissue.7
